Marian Typology is a continuity from the Old Testament to the New Testament where someone or something from the Old Testament is perfected in the New Testament. Mary foretold  throughout the Old Testament prepares our hearts for her “fiat” and her Son in the New Testament!  Simply put, Marian Typology is the idea that Our Lady is prefigured in the Old Testament.
